1. What shipping options do you offer?
We offer standard shipping with a flat rate of $25 for live plants, fish, and shrimp within the United States. You can also select UPS 2-Day Air or Next Day Air at checkout, which will be calculated based on your location and order weight. For live fish shipments, we only ship on Monday and Tuesday. However, if you choose 2-Day Air or Next Day Air, we can ship on any day of the week.
2. How do you ensure my live plants and fish will arrive safely?
All live plants, fish, and shrimp are carefully packed with high-quality insulated packaging to ensure they stay safe during transit. For fish, we ensure proper bagging and oxygen levels, while plants are carefully wrapped to prevent damage. We guarantee live arrival if the package is delivered within the appropriate temperature range of 60°F–80°F.
3. What if my order arrives dead-on-arrival (DOA)?
If your order arrives dead-on-arrival (DOA), please contact us within 2 hours of delivery with 2 clear photos of the unopened bag. We will process a full refund or replacement for the affected items. We require photos for verification and to assess the condition of the items.
4. Do you ship internationally?
At this time, we only ship within the United States. We do not offer international shipping for live plants, fish, or shrimp. We also do not ship to P.O. Boxes for live items due to the perishable nature of the products.
5. Can I modify or cancel my order after it's placed?
If you need to modify or cancel your order, please contact us immediately. We can only process changes or cancellations as long as your order has not yet been processed or shipped.
6. Do you offer a shipping guarantee?
While we take every measure to ensure your plants and fish are well-packaged, we cannot guarantee delivery times once the package is with the shipping carrier. Delays may occur during peak seasons, extreme weather conditions, or other carrier-related issues, but we are not responsible for such delays.
7. What is the best temperature for shipping live plants and fish?
For the safety of the plants and fish, we recommend that the temperature at delivery be between 60°F and 80°F. If the temperature is outside this range, we recommend adjusting the shipping date to ensure the safety of your items. You can contact us for assistance with selecting the best shipping time if needed.
8. Do you accept returns or exchanges on live plants or fish?
Due to the perishable nature of live plants, fish, and shrimp, we do not accept returns or exchanges. If there are any issues with your order, please contact us immediately. We will be happy to assist you and ensure your satisfaction.
9. How do I know when my order has shipped?
Once your order has been processed and shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information. You can track your order using the tracking number provided.
