Mine came a little bit brown. It didn’t smell but I’m working on getting it back to its healthy stage. I had one ball and the other 2 looked like they were torn apart. It will take some time for it to reshape to a ball. The size was as promised. Shipping was a little late. They came in a nice container (not air tight), although I would suggest that the seller should put the container in a ziplock. My marimo was a bit dry on arrival. Since they have been in quarantine, I havnt seen any critters.
Received 3 little (~1 1/2" diam.) deep green moss balls. I would not describe them as large, but they're fine for my small tank. My pygmy corydoras love resting on them.
Arrived late, but good.
